Two Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – An incident unfolded this Thursday morning at the Cornerstone Crossings apartment complex in east Columbus, resulting in two fatalities. The Columbus Division of Police responded to a call at Lake Club Court, just south of East Livingston Avenue, at 9:22 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman, both of whom were pronounced dead by medics at 9:31 a.m.

The incident is currently being investigated as a potential murder-suicide, as initial indications from the Columbus Division of Police hint that one of the deaths might have been self-inflicted.

Details regarding the events leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. The identities of the victims have not been released, and further information will be provided once available.
