STATEN ISLAND, NY – On Friday, officers from the NYPD 120th Precinct were dispatched to an apartment on Gordon Street after receiving an emergency call about a shooting.
Upon entering the residence, they discovered a 17-year-old female who was unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her head. Emergency medical services were summoned to the location, where they pronounced the young woman dead.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the police continue their investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released once the family has been properly notified.
