Juvenile Hospitalized After Shooting in East Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – Early Friday morning, two juveniles were targeted in a shooting on the 700 block of Elizabeth Avenue in Eastmoor.

According to the Columbus Police Department, an unidentified suspect fired multiple shots at their vehicle.

One of the juveniles was hit in the leg. The driver, in response, rushed the injured party to a nearby hospital.

The injured juvenile is currently in stable condition and is expected to recover from the injuries.

The Columbus Police Department’s Felony Assault Unit is actively investigating the incident and asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
