Missouri Man Charged for Deadly Columbus Bus Station Shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – A 26-year-old man from Missouri, identified as Jibril Kim, has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting at a bus station in the Hilltop area.

The incident occurred on October 8, 2023, on the 800 block of N. Wilson Rd. Responding officers from the Columbus Division of Police arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting report and found a male victim with gunshot injuries. Tragically, he was pronounced dead by the Columbus Division of Fire medics.

Kim, the accused, was detained on-site by the police and is now facing murder charges. The motives and events leading to the shooting remain under investigation by detectives.
