Bronx Street Fight Ends in Gunfire, Two Shot

NEW YORK, NY – A violent altercation erupted on Sunday, October 1, around 5:50 a.m. in front of 4246 Park Avenue. Initial police reports suggest an unidentified man got into a physical confrontation with a group of unknown males.

Escalating the situation, the individual retreated to a vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and fired several shots toward the group. Two males, aged 26 and 29, sustained gunshot wounds to their legs.

The 26-year-old victim was transported privately to Saint Barnabas Hospital and is currently in stable condition. Similarly, the 29-year-old was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi and is also in stable condition.

Authorities are actively searching for the assailant, described as a roughly 6-foot-tall male weighing about 225 pounds with a dark complexion, facial hair, last seen donning a brown hat, light-colored shirt, and blue jeans.

Witnesses identified the getaway vehicle as a white four-door BMW sedan. The search for the individual and the car is ongoing.
