Moped Bandit Targeting Women Arrested in NYC


BROOKLYN, NY – Kristian Naveda-Cabrera, a 25-year-old male from 1420 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, has been charged on multiple counts, including Robbery, Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and Unlawful Use of Credit Card.

According to police, on Wednesday, July 12, at around 10:35 p.m., a 28-year-old female was reportedly accosted in front of 34-33 84 Street. Two unidentified men on a moped allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and forcibly took her wallet and cell phone.

They were last seen speeding away southward on 84 Street prior to the arrest of Cabrera today.
