Suspect Sought in Multiple Robberies of Women in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating an individual connected to a series of robberies.

The first incident occurred on Monday, September 18, at approximately 1:00 p.m., involving a 37-year-old female victim at the Citibank located at 1871 Nostrand Ave. The male individual forcibly removed $873 cash from the victim’s hand and fled on foot.

The second incident transpired on Friday, September 22, at approximately 8:00 p.m., involving a 64-year-old female victim at the Chase located at 1599 Flatbush Ave.

The same individual approached from behind, forcibly removed her purse, and fled the location on a bicycle, traveling eastbound on Ave H. Neither victim was injured during the incidents.

The individual sought is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 6’ tall, 180 lbs, and aged between 18 to 26 years. The NYPD is encouraging anyone with information regarding these incidents to provide details.
