41-Year-Old Arrested for Baltimore Shooting and Carjacking

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Warrant Apprehension detectives from the Baltimore Police Department have arrested Michael Childs, 41, of Baltimore, in connection to a July 29th shooting in the Western District that followed a dispute.

The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where Childs allegedly shot a 45-year-old male.

On October 5th, investigators took Childs into custody and brought him to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

In addition to the shooting, Childs was arrested on another warrant related to a carjacking. He is currently being held without bail.
