Man Attacked With Glass Bottle in Stable Condition

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating an individual connected to an assault.

On Thursday, September 14, at approximately 5:04 pm, a 31-year-old male was attacked inside of 29-01 39th Avenue.

The victim was approached by an unknown individual who proceeded to strike him multiple times in the face with a glass bottle.

Following the assault, the assailant was observed fleeing the scene, heading eastbound on 39 Avenue. The victim was subsequently transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst and is currently in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6’ tall, with a dark complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a navy baseball cap, white t-shirt, gray pants, and black and white sneakers. The NYPD is asking anyone with information related to this incident to come forward.
