More Rain Forecasted Across New Jersey This Weekend

TRENTON, NJ – Today in New Jersey, residents can look forward to sunny skies with temperatures peaking near a comfortable 72°F, accompanied by a gentle west wind blowing at around 5 mph. As evening approaches, expect mostly clear conditions with temperatures dipping to around 48°F. The west wind will shift direction to the north after midnight, maintaining its speed.

Moving on to Friday, the sun will continue to dominate, bringing daytime highs close to 65°F. Although the morning wind will be calm, it will shift to the north, picking up to around 5 mph by the afternoon.

By nighttime, the skies will turn partly cloudy, and the temperature will cool down to about 43°F under calm wind conditions.

The weekend, however, is set to be wetter. Saturday will see rain, particularly after 2 pm.

High temperatures will hover around 60°F, influenced by an east wind blowing at 5 to 10 mph. This rainy trend will continue into Saturday night, and there’s even the possibility of a thunderstorm. Nighttime lows will be near 47°F, and rain might accumulate between 1 and 2 inches.

Sunday promises morning showers, primarily ending before 8 am, with temperatures nearing 60°F. It will be a breezy day with an 80% chance of rain. By Sunday night, the chance of rain drops to 30%, likely ending before 2 am, and the skies will remain mostly cloudy. Temperatures will stay around the 47°F mark.

Residents are advised to be prepared with umbrellas for the weekend and to exercise caution while traveling on potentially wet roads.
