PORTSMOUTH, VA – A shooting incident last Wednesday evening on the 60 block of Dale Drive has left one man dead.
The Portsmouth Police Department identified the deceased as 45-year-old Edward Lamont Santiful.
After the shooting, Santiful was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Details regarding the circumstances of the shooting or potential suspects have not been released by the police.
