Three Separate Shootings Within Three Hours in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Division of Police is probing into three separate shootings that transpired within about a three-hour span on Tuesday.

The first incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 600 block of East Whittier Street, where one victim was critically injured and transported to Grant Medical Center.

As of Wednesday morning, the victim’s condition has improved, and they are expected to survive.

Approximately two hours later, a second shooting was reported in the 4000 block of Luxury Lane. One victim was found and taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

The third incident took place around 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, resulting in one person being injured and another arriving at a hospital with a gunshot wound to their arm. Both victims from the third shooting are expected to survive.

Details regarding suspects in any of the shootings have not been provided by the police, and investigations into each incident are ongoing.
