A lucky player has won the Multi-Match jackpot estimated at $630,000 in the drawing held on Thursday, October 12. The winner now faces the choice of accepting the annuity, which would be paid in 25 equal installments, or opting for a lump-sum payment of an estimated $350,000 before taxes. The winning numbers for the ticket were 18, 29, 32, 35, 38, and 40, and it was purchased from Eagles Nest gas station located at 2754 Augustine Herman Highway in Chesapeake City, Cecil County.

This marks the seventh Multi-Match jackpot win for the year 2023. The game’s last jackpot was won on September 11 and was valued at $580,000. The Multi-Match game, which has been in operation since 2006, has recorded six jackpot wins in 2022 and five in 2021.

The Eagles Nest gas station is also celebrating the win, as it will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. “This is a significant moment for both the winner and our community,” said a spokesperson for the retailer.

Multi-Match is Maryland’s in-state jackpot game, with tickets only available for purchase in Maryland. Drawings for the game are held on Monday and Thursday evenings. The game has seen some large jackpots in its history, including a $4.8 million prize on September 19, 2009, and a $4.45 million prize on March 18, 2010.
