Nineteen Arrested in Newark’s Warrant Roundup

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Police Division, under the guidance of Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé, successfully apprehended 19 individuals during a recent warrant roundup, as part of their Crime Reduction Initiative.

The arrests took place between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Newark Police Division’s S.W.A.T., Major Crimes Division, and Fugitive Apprehension Team executed the arrests.

Director Fragé expressed gratitude towards the team and acknowledged the collaboration with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service in this violent crime reduction operation. A

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
