One Dead in Mura Street Shooting Early Monday Morning

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide after a male victim was found dead in a vacant house early this morning in the 700 block of Mura Street. The victim, who remains unidentified, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Central District patrol officers responded to a “Dead on Arrival” (DOA) call around 5:13 a.m., which was made anonymously. Upon arriving at the location, they discovered the victim’s body lying inside the unoccupied house.

The victim was subsequently transported to the medical examiner’s office for further investigation. As of now, details surrounding the circumstances of the death remain scant.

According to a statement released by the Media Relations division of the Baltimore Police Department, “Anyone with information is urged to contact Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.”

This is an ongoing investigation, and authorities are actively seeking any information that can aid in solving this case. The police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the 700 block of Mura Street around the time of the incident.
