Double Shooting in D.C. Leaves One Man Critically Injured

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A double shooting near the Capitol Hill neighborhood late Monday night left one man critically injured, according to local police.

The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. near Tennessee Avenue and C Street, said Officer Sean Hickman, a spokesperson for the police. The more seriously injured victim was found unconscious and not breathing, while the second man was conscious and breathing at the scene.

Police have not released the names of the victims and no additional details about the circumstances of the shooting are currently available.
