Four Injured in Shooting at Severn Shopping Center

Severn, MD — A shooting at a shopping center in Severn left four adult males with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to a statement from the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The incident occurred on October 16, 2023, at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Reese Road and Pioneer Drive.

Responding officers found that unknown suspects had fired several rounds at a group of men standing in front of a store at the shopping center. The victims were subsequently transported to an area hospital for treatment.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for the shooting.
