Athens County Resident Claims $100,000 Lottery Prize

ATHENS, OH – An Athens County resident has secured the top prize of $100,000 in the Ohio Lottery’s KICKER drawing, which took place on Monday, October 9. The fortunate ticket was purchased at Circle K #5356 in Crooksville, Ohio. After federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will pocket $72,000.

The winning KICKER numbers were 6-4-1-0-3-2, making this the third top-prize claim in the KICKER game this year. Previous winning tickets were sold in Lyndhurst and Lancaster.

As for the Ohio Lottery’s impact on local communities, it has contributed over $31 billion to education initiatives since its inception in 1974. This year’s winnings continue to highlight the lottery’s longstanding history of changing lives and benefitting public programs.
