Dump Truck Takes Down Utility Pole in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ – A motor vehicle accident led to the closure of Chapel Ave between Kingswood Ct and Old Cuthbert Rd, according to an announcement made by the Cherry Hill Fire Department. The department posted the news earlier today to their Facebook page.

Chapel Ave, a busy thoroughfare, has been temporarily shut down to allow emergency personnel to respond to the accident. At this time, it is not clear what caused the accident.

Police did not report any injuries.

Residents and commuters were advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes until the area was cleared. Emergency crews responded to the scene working to clear the accident and re-open the road.
