Man Critically Injured in Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A man is in critical condition after being shot last night in Western Baltimore.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of North Stricker Street at approximately 10:42 p.m., following a request from medics for police assistance. Upon arrival, they found an unconscious, identified male receiving treatment for a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently transported to an area hospital where he is being treated.

Preliminary findings suggest the incident occurred in the 1500 block of School Street. Detectives from the Western District and the Homicide Division are investigating due to the critical condition of the victim.
