Man Fatally Shot in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 24-year-old man was fatally shot yesterday morning in Northeast D.C.

Officers responded to the 4100 block of East Capitol Street at around 11:55 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Raequan Williamson of Southeast D.C. with gunshot wounds. Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch is investigating the incident.
