Deadly Shooting in Philadelphia’s Kingsessing Neighborhood

PILADELPHIA, PA – A 33-year-old man, identified as Khron Hall of the Kingsessing neighborhood, was pronounced dead following a shooting incident on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue on Tuesday.

The Philadelphia Police Department stated that the shooting, which took place just before 6 p.m., resulted in Hall receiving multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers, who were alerted to the incident through several 911 calls, arrived at the scene and transported Hall to a nearby hospital.

He was declared dead by 7 p.m. Chief Inspector Scott Small further shared that 12 spent shell casings were discovered at the shooting site.

Surveillance footage has also captured a vehicle that is believed to have sped away from the scene post the incident.
