Double Shooting in Philadelphia’s Queen Village Leaves One Dead

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An incident in Philadelphia’s Queen Village section on Tuesday night has left one person dead and another injured from gunshot wounds.

The Philadelphia Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the scene of the shooting at 5th and Carpenter Streets around 6:58 p.m.

A 23-year-old male victim, who had been shot multiple times, was taken to Jefferson University Hospital by the police.

He was pronounced dead shortly before 7:15 p.m.

Another victim, a 25-year-old man, sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and is currently in stable condition at Jefferson University Hospital.
