Juvenile Skateboarder in Critical Condition After Collision in Ingram

Allegheny County Police are actively investigating a serious crash between a vehicle and a 15-year-old male skateboarder that occurred at 5:47 pm today at the intersection of Winlock Avenue and Joel Street in Ingram.

The victim is listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

The Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Units of the Allegheny County Police Department responded promptly after County 9-1-1 was alerted. According to the department, “First responders found a 15-year-old male victim injured at the scene. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.”

The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

Officials are urging anyone with pertinent information about this incident to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. The police department emphasized that “callers can remain anonymous.”
