Ocean County Resident Strikes Gold with $859K Jersey Cash 5 Win

TRENTON, NJ – A single ticket sold in Ocean County nailed all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing on Wednesday, October 18, taking home a hefty $859,633 prize.

The winning numbers for the draw were 11, 12, 36, 38, and 39, with an XTRA number of 02.

The winning ticket was sold at the Shoprite located on Route 72 in Manahawkin. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus check for their part in selling the winning ticket.

New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey expressed enthusiasm for the winner, stating, “Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we’re already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize.”
