Overnight Shooting Reported in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden District

PITTSBURGH, PA – A shooting incident was reported in the Sheraden district of Pittsburgh just after 12:35 a.m. on Thursday.

Following alerts from the ShotSpotter system, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Zephyr Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to his right thigh.

First aid was administered on the spot, and the victim was subsequently taken to a local hospital.

He is currently listed in stable condition. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
