Shooting on Mount Vernon Avenue Leaves One Injured

COLUMBUS, OH – Early on Wednesday, at 12:13 a.m., Columbus Police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 Blk of Mount Vernon Avenue following reports of a shooting.

Upon their arrival, an adult victim with a gunshot wound to the arm was located.

The injured individual was transported to a local hospital and is currently reported to be in stable condition.

The Columbus Police Felony Assault Unit is actively seeking more information regarding this incident.

They encourage any potential witnesses or individuals with information to reach out to them directly or contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.
