Multiple Homes Burglarized in Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are looking into a residential burglary and an attempted residential burglary that took place on Sunday, September 3.

Surveillance footage of the male suspect has been released. The first incident occurred around 5:54 am on the 8100 block of Irwell Court, where the suspect forcibly entered a home and stole property.

Later that day, at around 2:13 pm, an attempt to break into a home on the 17400 block of Tauton Drive was reported.

Surveillance footage has provided a description of the suspect, a tall, thin Black male in his twenties or thirties.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
