Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Fort Washington

FORT WASHINGTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in Fort Washington. The deceased is identified as Foday Salim, a 77-year-old resident of Fort Washington.

On Thursday, around 7:00 am, officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Bock Road. The initial findings suggest that a sedan was heading southbound on Bock Road when it struck Salim.

Salim was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the sedan stayed at the scene following the incident.

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit asked anyone with knowledge of this collision to contact them at 301-731-4422.
