69TH STREET STATION, NY – A racial slur-laden attack unfolded on a Queens-bound “7” train at the 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue Subway Station, early Friday morning. At about 7:30 a.m., an unknown female assailant kicked a 28-year-old female in the face without any apparent provocation.

The victim was subjected to racial slurs and curses by the attacker, who promptly exited the train only to board the following Queens-bound number “7” train.

The attacked individual sustained a mild concussion and bruising from the assault, though she declined medical attention at the scene.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Unit has taken up the investigation to identify and apprehend the assailant. She is described as a female with a dark complexion, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, and believed to be between 30 to 40 years old. The suspect has dark hair tied in a high bun and was last seen wearing black spandex and a black jacket.
