NYPD Seeks Suspect Wanted for Groping Woman Inside Lexington Avenue Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Saturday, October 14, 2023, around 8:05 p.m., a 26-year-old female was leaving the 96 Street and Lexington Avenue Station.

During her exit, an unidentified male approached her from behind, touching her inappropriately.

After the incident, the male departed the station and was last seen heading west on 96 Street.

The male is described as approximately 30 years old with a dark complexion, last spotted wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

The New York City Police Department requests public assistance in identifying the individual involved in this incident.
