Paterson Tire Slasher Caught on Doorbell Camera

PATERSON, NJ — A suspect was caught on a Ring doorbell camera slashing tires in the 4th and 5th wards of Paterson overnight.

The Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit is investigating the series of incidents that have left multiple residents with damaged vehicles. The unidentified suspect’s actions were captured on a homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera, providing investigators with footage to aid in the ongoing investigation.

Police have not released further details on the suspect or the number of vehicles affected. Residents with additional information or footage are encouraged to contact the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit.
