HARRISBURG, PA — Attorney General Michelle Henry announced Friday that a Bedford County jury found Caleb Schweikarth, 39, guilty of indecent assault and corruption of minors. The victim was sexually assaulted beginning at the age of seven.

Schweikarth will be sentenced on January 16, 2024.

According to Attorney General Henry, the defendant exploited a close relationship with the victim and her family to commit the abuse. Schweikarth was frequently alone with the child in her family home, where the assaults occurred.

The prosecution emphasized its commitment to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation.
