New York State Police Seek Public Help to Identify Owner of Abandoned Dirt Bike in Tupper Lake

TUPPER LAKE, NY — New York State Police are seeking public assistance to identify the owner of a 2002 blue and yellow Suzuki Motorcycle found abandoned in Tupper Lake.

The bike was discovered on July 31 around 8:25 a.m. in a wooded area behind the Town of Tupper Lake Highway garage. Police responded to the scene following a tip and have since conducted multiple interviews in the area in an attempt to locate the bike’s owner.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the dirt bike or knows its owner to contact the State Police in Tupper Lake at 518-873-2750. The ongoing investigation aims to reunite the bike with its owner and ascertain the circumstances that led to its abandonment.

The State Police have not released further details on the bike or the investigation at this time.
