Police Offer Reward for Ohio Fugitive Wanted for Murder

AKRON, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for tips leading to the capture of Martell King. Wanted for aggravated murder and felonious assault, King is sought by the Akron Police Department and the United States Marshals Service.

King is suspected of fatally shooting a 26-year-old individual on January 29, 2022, in the 2100 block of 12th St SW in Akron.

At 28 years old, King is a male standing at 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 220 pounds. Authorities report that he is known to frequent the Akron and Cleveland areas.

The Task Force encourages anyone with information related to Martell King to call 1-866-4WANTED or text the keyword WANTED and their tip to 847411 (tip411). Those providing information can remain anonymous, and reward money is available for information that leads to King’s capture.
