Delivery Driver Shot in Wilmington in Critical Condition

WILMINGTON, NC – The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a shooting at around 6:02 p.m. last Sunday on the 1200 block of West 8th Street.

The victim, a 22-year-old male delivery driver, managed to get to the Liberty gas station on 4th Street after the incident.

Emergency services arrived at the station, transporting the injured man to a hospital where he is in critical condition.

Despite law enforcement response and area searches, no arrests related to the incident have been made. The Wilmington Police Department requests anyone with valuable information to contact Detective James Rook at 302-576-3621.
