13-Year-Old Baltimore Girl Arrested Trying to Steal Car in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, MD – On Tuesday, at about 9:30 p.m., police responded to a call regarding an attempted auto theft on the 4600 block of Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn.

A witness reported seeing a group of juveniles trying to steal a Hyundai.

When the officers arrived, the culprits fled on foot, leading to a short chase.

This resulted in the arrest of a 13-year-old female from Baltimore, who had a screwdriver and a USB cable in her possession.

Northern District detectives are further investigating the incident and asked anyone with additional information to contact them at 410-222-6135.
