Columbus Police Arrest Suspect in July Murder

COLUMBUS, OH – Investigators have charged Salad Jeylani in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in west Columbus in July.

On July 22, officers responded to the 1300 block of Crossing Green Lane after reports of a shooting.

They found Osman Ali, 20, in a vehicle with gunshot injuries near his home.

He was taken to a nearby hospital in a critical state but later succumbed to his injuries. Salad Jeylani, 21, turned himself in on October 19, and is now held at the Franklin County Jail.
