HARRISBURG, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry expressed her condolences on the sudden demise of Union County District Attorney D. Peter Johnson.

Johnson had an impressive 28-year tenure as a district attorney.

During his career, he was known for his strong advocacy for victims and his unwavering moral compass.

Notably, the Office of Attorney General had the privilege of collaborating with him on a significant investigation and prosecution that led to a first-degree murder conviction earlier this year.

Beyond his duties, Johnson generously gave his time and expertise to various statewide attorneys associations, addressing issues that affected Pennsylvanians.
