Newark 4th Precinct Hosts Annual Trunk-or-Treat Event This Halloween

NEWARK, NJ — Community Service Officers K. Eley and T. Frye from the 4th Precinct will host the annual Trunk-or-Treat Event on Tuesday, October 31, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will take place at the 4th Precinct, located at 247 16th Avenue.

Officers Eley and Frye extend an invitation to community members interested in decorating their trunks for the occasion. Those willing to participate are advised to sign up at the 4th Precinct as soon as possible.

The Trunk-or-Treat Event aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children and families to celebrate Halloween. Activities will include trunk-or-treating, where kids can collect candy from decorated car trunks, and other community engagement opportunities.

This event is a part of the precinct’s ongoing commitment to foster community relationships and ensure public safety. The Newark Department of Public Safety has shared details of the event through its social media platforms, encouraging wide participation from the community.
