Pair Sought in Attack and Robbery at South Jersey 7-Eleven

MARLTON, NJ — A 7-11 employee was assaulted during a robbery on October 23 when a man and a woman stole multiple boxes of cigarettes from the 2 E. Main Street store.

At approximately 9:10 PM, the pair entered the store and spent nearly 30 minutes inside before the male subject went behind the counter.

He began taking cigarette boxes while the female attempted to distract the store employee. When the employee tried to intervene, the male subject assaulted him by delivering multiple punches.

Both individuals fled the scene with the stolen goods and were last seen leaving the parking lot in a gray vehicle.

Surveillance footage captured images of the subjects, now considered persons of interest.

The Evesham Police Department has initiated an ongoing investigation into the robbery and assault. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the identity of the subjects or details about the crime to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116.
