Altercation Leads to Gunshots in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two individuals concerning a robbery and shooting incident. The event unfolded last Wednesday, October 18, at roughly 3:15 pm.

The 35-year-old male victim was seated in his vehicle outside 700 Westchester Avenue when two unknown males approached. A dispute ensued, and the two males entered the victim’s vehicle.

A physical altercation broke out, during which the suspects produced a firearm and shot the victim in the arm. They then fled into 671 Westchester Avenue with stolen property from the victim.

EMS transported the injured victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Lincoln, and is in stable condition.

The suspects are described as follows: The first male was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. The second male was clad in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers. The New York City Police Department encourages individuals with information to reach out.
