NYPD Investigates Sexual Assault Incident at 59th Street and Columbus Circle Station

NEW YORK, NY – Police are seeking a male suspect concerning a sexual assault case on Wednesday, September 20, at the 59th Street and Columbus Circle Station.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., a 47-year-old female exited the station when an unknown male approached her and grabbed her private area. The individual fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, estimated to be around 35 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, and sneakers.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
