Police Rule Blunt Force Trauma Death in D.C. As Homicide

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 64-year-old man was found dead last week in Northwest, D.C. from blunt force trauma, prompting a homicide investigation by local authorities.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 12:54 a.m. last Tuesday on the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Reggie Brown, a resident of Northwest, D.C. He died at the scene from apparent trauma.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the cause of death as blunt force trauma and ruled it a homicide.
