Arrest Made Following Fatal Stabbing in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY – Last Wednesday, at approximately 1:55 p.m., an incident unfolded at 1511 First North Street.

 Syracuse Police Officers, alongside Syracuse Fire Department and AMR paramedics, were called to the scene where they found 29-year-old Felecia I. Davis, who was pronounced dead due to apparent stabbing injuries.

After a comprehensive investigation involving interviews, search warrants, and evidence analysis, the CID Homicide Unit Detectives identified and located the suspect, 46-year-old Maurice L. Delee, at Upstate Hospital around 8 p.m.

Delee has since been taken into custody and has been charged with Second-Degree Murder and Third-Degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
