NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Detectives have obtained a warrant of arrest concerning the fatal shooting of James Caldwell Jr, 29, near Horton Avenue and Colonel Lee Archer Boulevard.
The incident occurred on October 26, 2022, around 5:54 pm when New Rochelle Police received multiple calls reporting shots fired at the specified location. Responding officers found Caldwell on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services provided first aid before transporting him to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
