Man Hospitalized Following Southside Richmond Shooting

RICHMOND, VA – A shooting incident on Richmond’s Southside has left a man injured and recovering in the hospital.

According to the Richmond Police Department, the incident occurred on Thursday on the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike just after 5 p.m.

Officers arriving at the scene discovered the injured man who had been shot. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The Richmond Police Department has not provided details about potential suspects at this time.
