Man Shot on East College Avenue in York

YORK, PA – In a recent update from York Police, a 29-year-old man sustained a non-life-threatening injury from a gunshot wound.

The shooting transpired on the first block of East College Avenue.

The initial call had officers responding to a reported shooting at 4:50 p.m. near the Big Wash Laundromat situated on the 200 block of South Queen Street.

Witnesses reported the laundromat’s temporary closure and areas of East Princess Street and East College Avenue were initially closed but have since been reopened.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
