Shooting Victim Seeks Refuge at Pleasant Grove Church

CLINTON, NC – At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man identified as Justice Elliot arrived at Pleasant Grove Church on Casper Road, suffering from a gunshot wound.

According to the sheriff’s office, Elliot had been involved in a dispute with two individuals, one of whom shot him in the buttocks.

His injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

Local authorities are still working to identify the other individuals linked to this incident.

The sheriff’s office confirmed that this case is separate from other shootings recently reported in the county.
