Three Arrested in Connection with Bayonne Shooting Incident

BAYONNE, NJ – The Bayonne Police Department has arrested three individuals in relation to a shooting that took place on Friday, October 21, near 19th Street and Avenue C. At approximately 5:39 pm, officers and detectives arrived at the scene following reports of gunshots.

Their investigation led them to a nearby residence where they found Raquan Harvey, 18, of West 19th Street, Bayonne, NJ.

Evidence collected at the scene identified Harvey as one of the shooters. A .45 caliber handgun, loaded with hollow point bullets, was recovered and confirmed as the firearm used by Harvey.

The second shooter, a 17-year-old juvenile from Flemington, NJ, remained elusive until Bayonne Police Detectives apprehended him on Monday, at 12:11 pm in south Jersey. The .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun in his possession was also recovered.

Further inquiries revealed Maegan Pallas, 42, of Flemington, NJ, had aided the juvenile by driving him to south Jersey, knowing he was wanted by the Bayonne Police Department. Pallas was arrested on Wednesday, at 4:15 pm and charged with hindering apprehension.
